The goal of In Case... is not only to entertain but to educate and inspire proactive thinking about personal and community resilience.

Gameplay

Players begin by assessing their resources, identifying items they already possess in real life and adding them to their Escape Pack. Next, they must prioritize and budget, using a limited allowance to purchase additional items while carefully balancing space and needs. Once prepared, they face the crisis by drawing an Event Card, reading the crisis scenario, and evaluating how well they would survive with their chosen items. Finally, players engage in learning and discussion, comparing their pack to key survival items, reflecting on their choices, and considering how they might respond collaboratively as a community.
